I Had Happy Holidays

Firstly, HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEARS, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE IT'S JOYFUL AND PROSPEROUS AND SHIT, AND HOPE YOU CAN HANDLE ALL THE BOOZE YOU ENEVITABLY HAD!!!!!!

I don't know if I mentioned this, but I have 3 older half-sibs on my mom's side. I also believe I forgot to mention that me familia and I went to Tennessee for xmas and New Year's. The younger sis and only bro live there and the older sis came in from Colorado for New Year's. (I just got back to the hotel from that.)

If you've read anything about my family in these journals, you'll know that I'm basically the black sheep: gay, Pagan, civil rights activist/more liberal and my whole family is xtian and republican. Ya, I'm THAT kid.

Anywhores, since it was so hard for my OWN MOTHER to accept me (it took 5/6 years), I'd avoided two weddings to not see these people because at least my older sis and one of the younger sis's daughters would try to convert and/or ex-gay me. (It's a choice, you know *gag*)

But, as my own experience shows multiple times, it went better then I had thought. I did have to have the "gay isn't a choice" and "why-I-left-xtainity" talks (with literally no-one in my corner), but it wasn't too bad. Basically, agree-to-disagree.

(EDIT: I forgot to mention that my younger sis's ex-husband, who is a huge dick but doesn't have one, decided to talk about how he was "sorry" that "nice people" would go to hell "but it was the truth." Oh ya, and he said this in relation to people of other faiths and gay people. While I was 5 feet away. Ya. )

Xmas was surprisingly well. When I had the whole "ex-xtain" talk, I brought up that xmas is really just a re-doing of Pagan holidays/Gods and surprisingly, no-one denied it. Mom wanted to make it a big thing this year; so my twin, cousin, and I helped her pick out a shit-ton of things to put under the tree. New Years was amazing XD We danced and singed (and drank) from 3 P.M. to 1 A.M. XD (My one cousin passed out. Hope the hangover isn't too bad.)

And speaking of the one drunk cousin, he turned around. Last time I was around 3/4 years ago, when I came out to the fam, he was not happy. This time, he thought it was not a big deal, and one of his bff's (who lives there) totally thought I was the shit XD (He's straight and taken tho )

We don't make "official" NY's revolutions, but my personal ones are to fucking graduate high school/ start college soon-ish, start writing and drawing more, and get some body mods. Sounds easy, but I'm lazy and anti-social :/ Keepin' it happy and light tho, hope you all had a great 2013 and hope your 2014 is the bomb like tick-tick-bang!

P.S. GAY MARRIAGE IS NOW LEGAL IN NJ XD I was listening to this song when I heard about it and it made me cry, so it's a really big fav now XD
